North Region BMX Racing Summer Series

Get ready for fast-paced, competitive racing across the North Region this summer! Open to both Expert and Novice riders, this series is a key stepping stone toward national qualification and a great way to experience regional-level BMX racing in a supportive, well-organized environment.

🚴 Key Info

• Registration: All riders must pre-enter via the British Cycling website.
  No on-the-day entries.

• Fees:

  • Expert: £19.00 + £1.00 BC booking fee

  • Double Expert (same rider, two bikes): £29.00 + £2.00 BC booking fee

  • Novice: £12.00 + £1.00 BC booking fee

🕘 Event Schedule

• Sign-On: 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM (Mandatory – no sign-up= no racing)

• Practice:

  • 09:15 – 10:00 AM: Open Practice

  • 10:00 – 10:30 AM: 10 & Under

  • 10:30 – 11:00 AM: 11–15 Years

  • 11:00 – 11:30 AM: 16+

  • 11:30 – 11:45 AM: Pro Section (if available)

• Racing Starts: 12:00 PM sharp

🏁 Racing Format

• 3 Motos for all riders.

• Finals for classes with 9+ riders (semi-finals may apply).

• Classes with fewer than 8 riders use a 4-moto Grand Prix format.

• Transponders required for all riders — no transponder = no results.

• Check Sqorz on the day to confirm race plates and transponder status.

🏆 Awards & Points

• Top 8 riders in each final receive awards.

• Series points awarded to the top 16 finishers per round.

• Expert riders: 5 regional rounds are required for British Championships qualification.

🔧 Before You Roll In

• Make sure your transponder is charged and working.

• Correct race plate and side numbers must be used (mandatory for Experts).

• Arrive early – parking may be limited.

• Food and tuck shop available on site.
