DESCRIPTION:North Region BMX Racing Summer Series\nGet ready for fast-paced\, competitive racing across the North Region this summer! Open to both Expert and Novice riders\, this series is a key stepping stone toward national qualification and a great way to experience regional-level BMX racing in a supportive\, well-organized environment. \n🚴 Key Info\n\n\nRegistration: All riders must pre-enter via the British Cycling website.No on-the-day entries. \n\n\nFees: \n\n\nExpert: £19.00 + £1.00 BC booking fee \n\n\nDouble Expert (same rider\, two bikes): £29.00 + £2.00 BC booking fee \n\n\nNovice: £12.00 + £1.00 BC booking fee \n\n\n\n\n🕘 Event Schedule\n\n\nSign-On: 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM (Mandatory – no sign-up= no racing) \n\n\nPractice: \n\n\n09:15 – 10:00 AM: Open Practice \n\n\n10:00 – 10:30 AM: 10 & Under \n\n\n10:30 – 11:00 AM: 11–15 Years \n\n\n11:00 – 11:30 AM: 16+ \n\n\n11:30 – 11:45 AM: Pro Section (if available) \n\n\n\n\nRacing Starts: 12:00 PM sharp \n\n\n🏁 Racing Format\n\n\n3 Motos for all riders. \n\n\nFinals for classes with 9+ riders (semi-finals may apply). \n\n\nClasses with fewer than 8 riders use a 4-moto Grand Prix format. \n\n\nTransponders required for all riders — no transponder = no results. \n\n\nCheck Sqorz on the day to confirm race plates and transponder status. \n\n\n🏆 Awards & Points\n\n\nTop 8 riders in each final receive awards. \n\n\nSeries points awarded to the top 16 finishers per round. \n\n\nExpert riders: 5 regional rounds are required for British Championships qualification. \n\n\n🔧 Before You Roll In\n\n\nMake sure your transponder is charged and working. \n\n\nCorrect race plate and side numbers must be used (mandatory for Experts). \n\n\nArrive early – parking may be limited. \n\n\nFood and tuck shop available on site. \n\n\n📄 For full details\, see the official North Region Tech Guide.\nFacebook page for updates
